The Open Fiber manager team led by CEO Mario Rossetti is completed, enriching itself with two new entries. Stefano Mazzitelli will lead the Business Market Division, while Simone Lo Nostro will head the Residential Market Division.

Stefano Mazzitelli has a long experience in the telecommunications sector, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in AT&T, Olivetti / Infostrada, Sprint and Telecom Italia (in which he also had the role of CEO of Sparkle). Graduated in Law from La Sapienza University, with a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Boston University, he was also Advisor for Italy and then Head of Marketing and Sales in the USA and Europe for Gcx – Global Cloud Xchange, a leading company in Tmt services and cloud, based in London.

Simone Lo Nostro was Chief Commercial Officer in Sky Italia. Graduated in Engineering from the University of Genoa with a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Insead, he worked in the Enel group as Head of Marketing and Supply and Head of Corporate Sales and in Sorgenia as Market & IT Director. Joined Sky Italia in 2019, he held the role of Chief Commercial Officer with responsibility for the direct management of sales channels, Pricing and antiques activities, both in the residential and business segments.

Mazzitelli and Lo Nostro are just the latest new entries into the company. In recent months, Guido Bertinetti, Director of Network & Operations Andrea Crenna, joined the role of Director of Administration, Finance and Control, Stefano Cusmai as Head of Corporate Affairs, Pasquale Salvione, Director of Purchasing and Logistics and Ferdinando Gandolfi, Head of Network and Operations Center Area .

Who are the managers of Open Fiber

Guido Bertinetti, Network & Operations Director of Open Fiber. After having started his career in the telecommunications sector in 1988 in Telecom, he developed a vast experience in the international field starting from 1998 and until today: first working in Amena, a Spanish operator then acquired by France Telecom, in the role of Planning and Roll- Out Director, and subsequently in France Telecom España / Orange as Network Service Delivery Management Director. In 2012 he brought his consolidated experience to Ericsson where he assumed positions of increasing responsibility, covering the role of Chief Operations Officer of Iberia & Morocco and subsequently, starting from 2019, the role of Chief Operation Officer UK and Ireland, coordinating a team of over 1000 people.

Andrea Crenna, Administration, Finance and Control Director of Open Fiber. Graduated in Business Administration and Finance from Bocconi University in Milan, he began his career in the banking sector, in Citibank NA, holding various positions of responsibility in the Corporate & Investment Bank division. He continues his professional career taking on positions of increasing responsibility in various large companies such as Omnitel Pronto and Vodafone Omnitel first as Head of Treasury and Capital Markets and then as Finance Director; he continues his career at Indesit taking on the role of Group Chief Financial Officer and then Chief Divison Officer / Food Treatment and subsequently in Terna with the responsibility of Group Chief Financial Officer. Since 2014 he has held the role of Group Chief Financial Officer of A2A, coordinating a team of over 200 people.

Stefano Cusmai, Corporate Affairs Director of Open Fiber. Graduated with honors in Law from the University of Rome “ La Sapienza ”, he completed his training by obtaining a Master of Laws in Corporate Law from the New York University School of Law. He began his career in 1998 and until 2007 he mainly dealt with M & A operations, providing assistance to leading Italian and foreign companies, at important international law firms. Since 2007 he brings his experience to Autostrade per l’Italia to continue his career at Atlantia, where he holds the role of Head of Domestic Legal and Corporate Affairs and Head of Company Secretary. In August 2020 he joined Cassa Depositi e Prestiti assuming the role of Head of Corporate Affairs and Special Projects.

Pasquale Salvione, Purchasing and Logistics Director of Open Fiber. Graduated in Telecommunications Engineering, he continued his training first at the London School of Economics and Political Science, obtaining a master’s in International Business Strategy and then at the University of Turin, obtaining a master’s in Science of Management. In 2003, after a brief experience in the scientific field in Berlin, he joined the Fiat group where he began his professional career in purchasing with various positions of increasing responsibility until finally covering the role of Global Purchasing Manager. In 2014 his experience continued at Royal Philips, first in Austria and then in the Netherlands, holding the positions of Global Commodity Senior Manager and Global Procurement Director. He subsequently held the role of Head of Procurement at WeBuild, coordinating a team of over 300 buyers.

F.erdinando Gandolfi, Network and Operations Center Area Manager. Former water polo player, winner of a gold medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. A long experience in telecommunications clothing, first in Tim and then 15 years in Wind as Head of Network Operations South Area.

The numbers of Open Fiber
